The materials in my work vary from project to project. I prefer drawing, painting, video, digital painting, graphic design, mixed media, 3D and 2D, installation and found materials.

I live and work in Anchorage, Alaska. I am originally from the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation in North Dakota/South Dakota.

This installation was part of the International Gallery's Clusterfest, a series of small-room parties in a huge house - a fundraising event for the gallery.

June 2011:
Animal robots finally get their revenge.

Two drawings highlight a strange version of the most ubiquitous art in Anchorage, the picturesque wild animals that frolic through the great outdoors.

Feb 2011: Containers of Casualty

Paintings, weavings, and found shipping materials mesh with poetry in this multi-media exhibition.

Other Projects in the Works:

Video portraits illustrating dreams of my own as well as those of others. Highlights so far: a gorilla with tree root legs, a pink disco ball that shouts bad things, a descending angel aka my beautiful gay man friend, guilt dreams about bacon, ninja dreams about beating up football players, brewing up tornadoes simply so that they can be drawn...stay tuned.

Army of Me: a series of drawings of arms floating in a black background. They are all in the weird positions found during sleep.

The Adventures of Bukbha: The stories will center on the absolutely unlikely ways in which a clumsy girl manages to cause universal chaos. Alternately titled Shories, depending on whether I make the comic book out of shells, which is ambitious and exciting, but may not actually happen.
